Mantra & Meditation Online Basic Course (8-Sessions within 8 weeks)
Mantra is a Sanskrit word: Man means the mind, the spirit, and tra means to overcome, transcend or to protect. Chanting mantras helps us overcome our constant and restless flow of thoughts and protects us from being drawn into the endless whirlings of thoughts.
Music is yoga of sound and chanting mantras has a healing effect on both the physical and the subtle body. It has a calming effect on our autonomic nervous system and on our breath. At the same time, it helps to give our emotions a positive direction. This is why mantra chanting is such a good preparation for silent meditation and guides us from silence back into stillness through the sound and vibration of the mantras
In this course you will learn to get in touch with your own natural voice through chanting Sanskrit mantras, because the instrument here is our own voice. You will learn the basic knowledge and pronunciation of the Sanskrit alphabets, so that you can get deeper into the sound and vibrations of the mantras. Meditation and mantra chanting is a practice that everyone builds up step by step by oneself. This means that we will go through the different elements step by step, and everyone learns how to integrate these elements into everyday life.

Technology makes it possible! If you not be able to attend a session, that's no problem at all. Each session will be recorded as audio files and will be available for you to stream for 7 days. This gives you the opportunity to catch up on the session you have missed.
